First 5 Hawai‘i is a statewide initiative and online resource platform launched in early 2026 to ensure that every keiki (child) in Hawai‘i has a strong foundation during the most critical years of development. This platform serves as a "digital gateway" for families with children from birth to age 5. It addresses the fact that 90% of a child's brain develops by age five by connecting parents to essential services in health, education, and financial stability through a user-friendly, multilingual eligibility screener.
