About
Partners in Development Foundation (PID) empowers Hawaiian families to overcome systemic challenges and historical trauma by drawing upon ʻike kupuna (ancestral wisdom) to build self-resiliency. We provide culturally grounded education and social services that support everyone from keiki to kūpuna, positioning families as their children's first and most important teachers. Their holistic approach emphasizes food security, environmental stewardship, and the healing of "youth of promise" who have been affected by adverse childhood experiences or the foster care system. By integrating traditional Hawaiian values with modern educational curricula and community engagement, PIDF ensures that both the family and the wider community can thrive together.
